public interface CachingBOLoaderUpdateStrategyI

Strategy defining cache synchronization boundaries and update ingestion rules for the CachingBOLoader.

Controls which entity types are monitored for server-side change events and determines whether newly created remote business objects (BOs) should be eagerly ingested into the local cache.

getMonitoredEntities

java.util.Set<EntityI> getMonitoredEntities()

Returns the entity types to register with the database change listener.

Only changes to business objects belonging to these entities trigger update evaluation.

Returns:

unmodifiable set of entities monitored for updates; never null

isMonitoredClass

boolean isMonitoredClass(java.lang.Class<? extends BOI> clazz)

Evaluates whether a specific BO class requires cache synchronization.

Acts as a concrete type filter for polymorphic entities returned by getMonitoredEntities(). Called only for classes whose entity definition is included in getMonitoredEntities().

Parameters:

clazz - concrete BO class to evaluate; non-null

Returns:

true if instances of this class (or subclass) are tracked; false otherwise

isEagerLoadingEnabled

boolean isEagerLoadingEnabled()

Determines whether newly created server objects matching the monitored entities should be eagerly loaded into the cache even if not previously cached.

If false, updates are applied strictly to objects already resident in the cache or linked via currently unlazied many-relations.

Returns:

true to eagerly ingest all matching remote creations; false to restrict updates to existing cache entries
